Live Coral Shipping: We ship our packages via UPS Priority Overnight Delivery. Our rates are $45 for the continental U.S. and $25 within the state of Florida. If you order $300 or more in marine livestock, shipping is free. Shipments may require a signature. You must pick up your order within two hours of delivery if you plan on picking it up at the Fed Ex facility. Live coral shipments will be shipped out as late as possible to arrive by 10:30 am the following morning. Shipments will be sent out Mondays through Thursdays. Saturday Delivery is not included but may be available for an additional cost. Contact us if you require a Saturday shipment.
We will monitor weather prior to shipping live coral. If weather appears to be too risky or likely to cause delays (particularly at origination, destination, or the shipping hub), we reserve to the right to delay the order in the interest of coral survival. Additionally, due to excessive delays around Christmas, no shipments will be sent out during the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th week of December except under circumstances agreed upon by the buyer and GeoReef and at the customer's own risk.
Fresh Cuts: Any corals purchased which are fresh cuts will we require up to a 10 day healing period prior to shipping, depending on the coral type.
DOA and Guarantee: GeoReef LLC will guarantee our coral to arrive alive and extend our guarantee for 12 additional hours from delivery. If you receive a coral that is dead, please take a clear, legible photo of the coral immediately. Please do not take the photo under blue or actinic lighting. Guarantee is contingent upon signed acceptance at the time of delivery. Shipments left on door steps or signed by adjacent residents or businesses will not be eligible for replacement.
Replacement will be of equal size of the exact coral purchased. If we are unable to replace with the same piece, a credit toward another item will be given. This will be at our discretion.
Beyond the 12 hour period, should you experience issues and/or death of the coral, contact us and we will do our best to work with you in order to keep you happy as a customer.
We will not be responsible for orders that are mishandled, lost, or delayed by the carrier but as previously mentioned, will do our best to work with you.
Dry Goods: Shipping costs are calculated at the time of purchase and determined by product weight and quantity. Larger orders along with heavy and bulky items require special attention and require additional shipping fees. For these items, discounted rates or actual rates will be charged. Orders to Alaska and Hawaii need to be handled by a customer care manager through our sales department. Please call 800.461.4796 to place an order or email us the items and quantities you need and we can send you a PayPal invoice. All phone orders must be placed during standard business hours (8:00-5:00 EST Monday-Friday). Special order and clearance items are non-returnable except under manufacturer's warranty.
